, там очень любят концептуальные рендеры.
Покупатель оплачивает лицензию на использование вашей фотографии в своем проекте (Royalty free лицензия), фотобанк берет свою комиссию, оставшаяся сумма пополняет ваш баланс. Продать одно изображение можно сколько угодно раз, потому что лицензия подразумевает под собой ограниченное использование вашей работы. Помимо этого вы можете размещать одни и теже фотографии на нескольких фотобанках параллельно. Набрав определенную сумму (обычно это 100$) у вас появится возможность ее вывести, вывод происходит через платежную систему манибукерс, аналогичную яндекс деньгам, вебмани, только находящуюся в британии, а уже оттуда перевести заработок либо на карточку (Visa от "классик" и выше) либо на ваш счет в банке.
Микростоки (микропейментные фотобанки) - это агентства, являющиеся посредниками между нами и дизайнером, содержащие огромные базы фотографий, помогающие найти дизайнеру нужный ему снимок или рисунок. Изначально фотобанки появились очень давно, в них находились клипарты и репортажные снимки по высоким ценам и воспользоваться услугами могли только крупные фирмы и журналы, газеты. позже появились микропейментные фотобанки, в которых цены стали намного меньше и покупателей стало в разы больше, их стали называть - микросток.
В наше время микростоковая фотография это основной источник иллюстрационного материала по всему миру, в том числе и в России. А это означает что помимо заработка у вас появится возможность увидеть использование своих иллюстраций в самых неожиданных местах, не только в интернете, но и на улице.
Прочитать о системе работы микростоков, прочитать описания самых крупных из них (фотолия, dreamstime, популярный shutterstock
, istockphoto) на которых крутится больше всего денег вы можете на сайте - aboutstock.ru. Вы можете как принять участие в обсуждениях, так и попросить совета по поводу прохождения экзаменов на тех микростоках где это требуется. Кроме того на сайте имеется бесплатный фотобанк изображений, в котором вы найдете клипарты для оформления вашего сайта, статей.

Hi all, I've been looking around on the net for about three days to a solution to a problem I am having with .obj and .mtl files. A bit new to 3D programming, I am loading a very basic scene I created in FluxStudio 2.0 into Java3D via an .obj and .mtl file through an ObjectFile object. ( The problem......Collapse )

Some days ago I have proted old 3D example (DOS) to Linux SDL (screenshot
Last evening I have made first own object - gouraud shaded plane.
Then I added getopt to applications, so parameter -d
forces dump of frames to FS as TGA files.
This evening I will try to put textures to the plane.

I'm studying OpenGL, and right now I'm stuck: I want to enable the user to drag and drop control points of my b-spline curve, but I don't know how to convert real-world coordinates (that a mouse click gets) to window coordinates and back. gluUnProject
do not seem to do the trick, or maybe I'm just not using it properly.
Any help will be appreciated. Thnx.

Study 3D programming...
Hey guys... I'm a 3D enthusiast who's looking for educational avenues in 3D programming... I have just started studying opengl and am playing around with it's various features.. while doing so... I intend to get an MS degree. I was hoping to find some info on univs that offer 3D programming or related/relevant courses in an MS program. I understand that there is no such thing as a 3D programming major.. but information visualisation, geometric modelling and other such generic topics are offered..
I'm not too good at Math (which i know plays a major role in these kinda courses).. but wouldn't mind going back to the basics if the course is interesting enough... my ultimate goal is to get into graphics programming.
To make a long story short.. i want info/links/list on univs that offer such courses... or those that have a seperate graphics department like Stanford has(which btw is way out of my reach).. there might be a seperate list for CG offering schools in the US.. I have no idea bout which ones are there and which ones are good.
Any help is appreciated.. thanx in advance.

Any thoughts on Carrara?
I have version 1.0, the one that came out only a few weeks before Metacreations went under. I now have an option to get 5.0, and am wondering if it is a good choice, or if there is some other tool in the same price range that would be better.
I have a lot of experience making 3D art, but next to none with making fully original models. I would like a program that is easy to work with, and well suited to such tasks as modelling new clothing and props for Poser figures, or buildings and scenary I could then use in Vue D'Esprit.
My work is nearly all dones throug Poser and Vue at present, though I can work with Bryce as well - so observations from people using these kinds of tools have added value for me.
Carrara 1.0 looked realtively not too complex, although I was using it with no training, and it went under so fast no user community could develop to help me learn. Is Carrara 5.0 likely to be better off in these regards?

Visual Basic .NET Direct3D programming
I'm trying to get a simple 3D program going with Visual Basic .NET.
The major problems I'm running into are; I can't find a tutorial for .NET (only 6) and the one I'm trying to use for VB6 has got me stuck.

Where I'm getting stuck is:
D3DDevice = D3D.CreateDevice(D3DADAPTER_DEFAULT, D3DDEVTYPE_HAL, _
which I converted to:
D3DDevice = D3D.CreateDevice(0, CONST_D3DDEVTYPE.D3DDEVTYPE_HAL, ? , CONST_D3DCREATEFLAGS.D3DCREATE_SOFTWARE_
The problem I am currently running into is where "frmMain.hWnd" was on their's, I can't figure out how to get that to work in VB.net, "frmMain.hWnd" doesn't work (I've made a form named frmMain) and it needs an integer return. A little trip through the MSDN library shows that the .net equivleant of hWND is .Handle, which doesn't seem to work either.
What can I do about it? Thanks

Hi, I just joined this group!
I was curious as to what is a simple intuitive rendering program for accurate architecture designs. I have looked at alot of programs, a number are far too expensive to afford, to see if there is a rendering program that would be great for architecture design. Autodesk viz is somewhat complicated even though my college let's me have a student license. I have heard Form Z or 3D Studio Max are good, but neither is affordable. I was wondering if Bryce 3D would be worth purchasing because it is only $100, but I noticed that reviewers have called it far too simple to use any detail unless a model from autocad is imported, plus the lack of any real unit scaling. So far I have made most models simply inside autocad without rendering because architecture courses do not teach rendering yet they seem to prefer if you have rendered images, which is why I was wondering if Bryce would be useful because it is supposed to be simple when compared to programs like Viz which are hard to construct objects within them.
Any suggestions would be helpful :)

I am typically a web/graphic designer. I was hired for a summer internship and promptly given the task of modeling the logo of the company out in 3D.
with Corel Dream 3D.
So now that i've taken this project as far as it will go with Corel, they want to know if i can export the dream file to maybe something more current, but affordable. (its an insurance company, they're not looking to have too chic of a comm. dept.)
i'm at a loss, any suggestions?

I wanted to buy a rendering program to make 3D characters with Star Wars II Attack of the Clones
quality. I have searched around and decided to buy an Alias
product but since I don't know exactly what I need I thought I had better ask.
I would like to get only what I need and it appears that I need the Alias® MotionBuilder™ 6
program, is that what I want?EDIT
Maybe I need the Maya® Complete 6
because it lists rendering where MotionBuilder™ 6 doesn't. These products are pricey compared to the others I have seen.

Software vs. Hardware texture mapping...
I am at a point with my studies where I am attempting to do texture mapping. As expected, I realized a significant performance impact. What is you general opinion...can it be done (fast) in the software layer, or have I pressed things to the limit?

I suppose that it would be faster to convert a camera's coordinates to object space to remove hidden faces than it would to convert the faces/points of the object to camera space and then remove the hidden faces.

A Code Generated Sphere
So, I have been trying to figure out how to write a function that will return a mesh of a sphere. I keep beating my head against the wall :(
I have tried loops that iterate through angles and stuff...but I am stuck.
